Juan is a member of the delegation from Mexico, tutor of the International Research School for the upcoming International Science Games, which will be held in the city of Yakutsk from 8 to 15 July.
The full name of Juan is Juan Alberto Guevara Haramiyo. He lives and works as a mechanic in Mexico also he has his own motorcycle service. Last year, Juan already visited Yakutia in the 10th International Research School in the countryside Oktyomtsy. Juan says that he really enjoyed spending time here. He also learns and speaks Russian but not fluently.
«I knew that Yakutia is an interesting place and associated with mammoths and diamonds,» says Juan. Juan already knew about mammoths since in Mexico, as in Yakutia, their remains were found. In addition, Juan is interested in getting to know other peoples who have their own unique culture and traditions.
Juan says that: «In International Science Games, I will teach and guide the project. We will make rockets, robots and other automatic systems. I hope that our project will work correctly, and my team and I will show that this automatic system can work without human help. »
Juan tries to speak with the press, organizers and participants of the International Science Games only in Russian, thus he practices language, and we can say that he is doing very well.
«For me, these games are very interesting, because there are many different subjects, for example, literature, lexicology, physics, and chemistry. Moreover, many good projects for children. To my mind, these games will be a good experience for children. We need to work with pleasure from what is happening and I hope everything is going to be fine.”- says Juan.
