Vice-Rector for Informatization of NEFU Ivan Petr Petrovich: «Thanks to all the guests that you came to us so far in such heat. Now you know the Yakutian summer. I wish you all more creativity and — like in football — good luck!
Doctor of Science, from Institute of Science and Technology, Sung Won Seo: «I am from South Korea, and as you know, our country once was one of the poorest countries in the world after the Second World War and the Korean War, and even countries like Ethiopia and Bangladesh provided us with a humanitarian help. So, since our country does not have a lot of natural and mineral resources, it was decided to invest in human capital. So, plans were made in the shortest possible time, so the economy began to develop really quickly and precisely at the expense of human capital. And, of course, Russia is famous for its developments and achievements, for example, in the space industry, and also very much is devoted to the development of scientific and technical creativity of young people. As we know, the tagline of this event is «Let’s do science, let’s make friends,» but I would like to add something to this expression: «Let’s do science, let’s make friends and let’s create our future together. Thank you!»
Director-representative of the Association of Global Scientific Education Tatsumasa Kitahara from Japan thanked the organizers for the invitation and said that the support and development of human resources at the moment is a priority for all countries.
Director of the Student IT & Robotic Center of NEFU Maximov Vasily Vasilyevich, an expert and one of the judges of the «Games of Robots» introduced experts and team members, describing the activities of their work, achievements and successes.
The «Games of robots» counts 30 participant teams — two members in each. One team from Kazakhstan, all the rest — from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The judging panel of the competition consists of 8 experts, two of them are Sung Von Seo and Himok Kim, from the Republic of Korea, representing the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and one from Japan, Tatsumasa Kitahara, the representative-director of the Association for Global Scientific Education from Kyoto.
