Today, 30th of June, participants of the YISG-2022 arrived at the residential buildings of the Junior Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha Yakutia. Children came from all regions of Russia, including other countries like: Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and so on. They are going to take part in upcoming conferences and olympiads in different directions.
In total, there will be 5 different events in the science games: Tuymaada olympiad, Yakutian International Science Fair, International Research Sсhool, Yakutian Research School and YISG Multimedia School. Children are very excited about these events and recently, they have been preparing for them with all their efforts. We conducted a small survey among the participants:
Elena Sleptsova, from Verkhnekolymsky District, shared information about her project: I’m taking part in IRS in the direction of botany and biochemistry. My project called Yakutsk from Scythians to Omogoi and it is aimed at the cultural and spiritual development of the people.
Another participant, Veniamin Gusarov from Moscow, Khimki, told us, that he will participate in the direction of the space fire station with his partner Olga Alexandrova.
All events will be held from July 1 to July 10, at three different locations: Sosnovy Bor and in the village of Chapaevo, on the territories of the new and old Small Academy of Sciences buildings. In general, about 670 children will participate in Yakutian International Science Games and 449 of them will be present full-time.
